Vintage Textile Mill Spindles
What a find! You prim lovers will be so happy to see these wonderful vintage textile mill spindles which I recently was able to acquire. I have about seven different styles and close to 75 spindles, spools, or bobbins, whatever your name for them. These were used in the textile mills of the Southeast until sometime in the 1950's and are now wonderful collector's items. They have so many fun uses such as in a basket of colorful wool yarn balls or turned into a candle stick or simply gathered witha vintage ribbon or some gingham tied around them. What a great piece of Americana!
