This is a beautiful cup & saucer in the retired Wedgwood Edme Conway pattern. It has a lovely pattern of flowers, including roses, in the center. There are no chips or cracks or wear to the pattern and the full Wedgwood Edme backstamp is present. The impressed number indicating the date of the piece shows it was made in either 1945 or 1949. I have six of these beauties all in excellent condition. The cup holds 6 ounces to the rim. Look for the other pieces from this pretty pattern ~ several complete place settings plus a number of other pieces. Simply search in my shop for 'Wedgwood' and they will come up for you. There are a dozen DESSERT plates all in excellent condition! It is rare to find that number in such good shape.
