'Christmasy' grouping of six wooden vintage textile mill spindles shaped like little Christmas trees - SO CUTE. The wood alone is GORGEOUS on these!  Each one measures about 2.75" tall with a round base about 7/8" in diameter - The widest point at the bottom of the 'tree' is about 1-1/4" wide ~ Perfect for Christmas decorating or to surprise a friend as a gift! They would be wonderful in a Christmas scene with your little Christmas village Collection or Dept. 56 items as little Christmas trees if you wrapped all of them in green Embroidery thread. I also have a number of other different styles and close to 75 spindles, spools, or bobbins, whatever your name is for them. If you love Prim decorating, these are for YOU!  These were used in the textile mills of the Southeast & Northeast until sometime in the late 1940's or early 1950's and are now wonderful collector's items. They have so many fun uses such as in a basket of colorful wool yarn balls or the larger ones (listed VERY soon) can be turned into a candle stick or simply gathered with a vintage lace or a strip of gingham tied around them.
