D. Zolan Collector Plate 'A Time for Peace'
This beautiful Donald Zolan plate was used by The March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation. This plate depicts a child's fascination with nature and is "quintessential Zolan: a warm and glowing portrait of a happy, healthy child experiencing the magic of the world around her." Zolan said about the plate " The chance to experience peace is every child's right as well as every adults' responsibility."
This plate is in mint condition and includes the original COA (Certificate of Authenticity) and a descriptive pamphlet with a write-up about how Zolan came to make the original painting which inspired the plate. Included as well, will be the original issue shipping box in which the plate and literature has been stored The plate measures 8-1/2" in diameter.
