This is a stunningly beautiful plate by the W. L. George China Company. It is titled "Silent Night" and was painted by Jean Sias in remembrance of the famous Christmas Carol by the same name which was written by Joseph Mohr and Franz Gruber on Christmas Eve in 1818. This plate is the first annual plate in the collection entitled "The Spirit of Christmas" and was crafted in bone china and limited to a maximum of 150 firing days. The plate is 8-1/2" in diameter.

This plate is in mint condition and includes the original COA (Certificate of Authenticity ) and a descriptive pamphlet with a write-up about Jean Sias's series (which is very interesting to read). Included as well will be the original issue shipping box in which the plate and literature has been stored
